Mr. Ray is a Vice President at Compass Partners, an investment firm specializing in Aerospace, Defense, and Manufacturing. Prior to joining Compass, he served as a Submarine Officer aboard the USS Alabama, where he held various strategy and operations roles and was certified as a Naval Nuclear Engineer by the Department of Energy. Jack holds a B.S. in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he also served as captain of the Men’s Lacrosse Team.
Dr. Nitin Mehta is an accomplished entrepreneur, technology leader, and philanthropist. Dr. Mehta is co-founder and Executive Chairman of ColorTokens. He also serves as Executive Chairman of BioJiva LLC, Chairman of Compex Legal Services as well as a member of the Shipcom Wireless and the The Modern Data Company Board of Directors. Dr. Mehta was the first venture capitalist of Indian origin in Silicon Valley, investing in numerous successful technology start-ups. Dr. Mehta previously served on the boards of organizations like Viking River Cruises, Retrotope, Quisic.com, eMBA, the Indus Entrepreneurs, TiE, Fort Mason Center Foundation, and the San Francisco Zoo. In 2008, General Moseley completed a distinguished 40+ year military career as the 18th Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, serving as the senior uniformed Air Force officer responsible for the organization, training and equipage of over 700,000 Active-Duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve and Civilian personnel serving worldwide. In this role, General Moseley also served as the Nation’s senior Airman.
General Moseley was a career fighter pilot with over 3,000 hours flying the latest combat aircraft. He commanded combat units from a fighter squadron and fighter group to a large composite wing, a numbered air force and theater air/space component command. In that capacity as Commander of U.S. Central Command Air Forces he was directly responsible for the planning and execution of combat air/space operations against hostile Taliban and Al Qaeda forces in Afghanistan and along the Horn of Africa (Operation Enduring Freedom) and against hostile Iraqi forces (Operation Northern Watch, Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom).
Her Majesty, the Queen of England “Knighted” General Moseley in being named “Knight Commander” (KBE) of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and the President of the French Republic named him a “Commander” in the National Order of the Legion of Honor. He was personally awarded two Defense Distinguished Service Medals by the Secretary of Defense for his combat innovation and leadership in the Middle East, and upon retirement, he was awarded a third Air Force Distinguished Medal as well as Distinguished Service Medals from the Department of the Army, Department of the Navy and from the Coast Guard/Department of Homeland Security. Texas A&M University has recognized his accomplishments and dedicated services with their Distinguished Alumnus Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a former student. The Independent School District of Grand Prairie, Texas has also honored him in 2007 by naming their newest elementary school the “Mike Moseley Elementary School. “
He currently serves as President/CEO of Moseley and Associates, an international consulting enterprise, focusing on global security matters and international relations. He also serves as Chairman of Hillwood Aviation (A Perot Company) with offices in Texas and activities on a global scale. He is President/CEO of Global HFNET, an international telecommunications activity, focusing on resilient/reliant global command and control. Additionally, he serves as President/Innovation of Parker Maritime Technologies, working to improve shipping efficiencies across a broad cross-section of maritime stakeholders.
Mrs. Parker is the Chief Information Officer of Parker Maritime Technologies. Previously, Parker co-lead the team that launched the best consumer map of the ocean available to billions of user in Google Earth and Google Maps. She also created and launched Underwater Street View in Google Maps, Google Crisis Response, Google Earth Outreach and Global Fishing Watch. Google Ocean received the Wildaid Leadership Award, the 2012 Blue Frontier Peter Benchley Excellence in Exploration award, the 2009 Aquarium of the Pacific’s Conservation Award, and the 2009 Heal the Bay "Walk the Talk" Bring Back the Beach Award. She also founded Oceanagenda.com to bring solution-creators together to create a forum for the envisioning of a healthy, sustainable blue planet and to support ocean-related, sustainable technology companies.
Mrs. Parker went on leave from her PhD at Stanford University in Neuroscience, where she was a National Defense Science and Engineering fellow, to work directly for Google’s co-founders. She holds an undergraduate degree in biology from Florida State and a Master’s degree from Stanford University in the Neurosciences. She is a scuba diver and Fellow National member of the Explorers Club (FN’14). J. Austin was named a 2021 Godmother of the Princess Cruise Lines' Enchanted Princess ship.
Dr. William J Parker III is the CEO of Parker Maritime Technologies. He is a retired senior naval officer who after retirement from the military served as the President and CEO of the EastWest Institute before founding Parker Maritime Technologies.
He is an entrepreneur, inventor, and national security leader with over 35 years of maritime experience. He served as the Chief of Staff for U.S. Naval Surface Forces organizing, manning, and equipping the entire U.S. surface ship fleet. He also commanded a squadron of warships and three individual warships at different times in his career.
In addition to multiple combat tours, he served as senior advisor and strategist to U.S. Ambassadors, working in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan at critical times. He is a qualified military parachutist and Surface Warfare Officer with a long list of U.S. and international military awards, including the Bronze Star, three Legions of Merit and the Department of State Meritorious Honor award.
He is the 2009 recipient of the Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Award for Inspirational Leadership. He was the U.S. Navy’s Military Fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations.
He appears in the 2016 Emmy-winning documentary, Sonic Sea.
Dr. Parker holds a PhD from George Mason University, an MPA from Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy, where he was a distinguished military graduate and class president.
