Dr. William J Parker III is the CEO of Parker Maritime Technologies. He is a retired senior naval officer who after retirement from the military served as the President and CEO of the EastWest Institute before founding Parker Maritime Technologies.
He is an entrepreneur, inventor, and national security leader with over 35 years of maritime experience. He served as the Chief of Staff for U.S. Naval Surface Forces organizing, manning, and equipping the entire U.S. surface ship fleet. He also commanded a squadron of warships and three individual warships at different times in his career.

In addition to multiple combat tours, he served as senior advisor and strategist to U.S. Ambassadors, working in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan at critical times. He is a qualified military parachutist and Surface Warfare Officer with a long list of U.S. and international military awards, including the Bronze Star, three Legions of Merit and the Department of State Meritorious Honor award.

He is the 2009 recipient of the Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Award for Inspirational Leadership. He was the U.S. Navy’s Military Fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations.

He appears in the 2016 Emmy-winning documentary, Sonic Sea.

Dr. Parker holds a PhD from George Mason University, an MPA from Harvard University’s John F Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy, where he was a distinguished military graduate and class president.

Dr. Nitin Mehta is an accomplished entrepreneur, technology leader, and philanthropist. Dr. Mehta is co-founder and Executive Chairman of ColorTokens. He also serves as Executive Chairman of BioJiva LLC, Chairman of Compex Legal Services as well as a member of the Shipcom Wireless and the The Modern Data Company Board of Directors. Dr. Mehta was the first venture capitalist of Indian origin in Silicon Valley, investing in numerous successful technology start-ups. Dr. Mehta previously served on the boards of organizations like Viking River Cruises, Retrotope, Quisic.com, eMBA, the Indus Entrepreneurs, TiE, Fort Mason Center Foundation, and the San Francisco Zoo. Dr. Mehta was also a General Partner of Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners, a $10 billion investment and venture capital firm, and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Dr. Mehta has a Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, and a bachelor's degree in engineering (summa cum laude) from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Mr. Ray is a Vice President at Compass Partners, an investment firm specializing in Aerospace, Defense, and Manufacturing. Prior to joining Compass, he served as a Submarine Officer aboard the USS Alabama, where he held various strategy and operations roles and was certified as a Naval Nuclear Engineer by the Department of Energy. Jack holds a B.S. in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he also served as captain of the Men’s Lacrosse Team.

Mr. Mehta is a Principal at Pulsar Ventures, an investment firm focused on funding breakthrough innovations in energy, AI, and biotech. He has a deep passion for and proven history of bringing bleeding-edge technology to market. Prior to Pulsar Ventures, Mr. Mehta built his career in go-to-market roles, scaling early-stage ventures from zero to multi-million-dollar revenue across product, sales, and customer success.

Mr. Magowan is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Arboreal Capital. He also works with Stonehaven, LLC, a Member FINRA/ SIPC. Mr. Magowan leads efforts to finance ESG-qualified companies and projects across real assets (real estate, low carbon energy, infrastructure, forestry), resource efficiency, and financial services.  He recently served as Co-Founder and interim CEO of Arboreal BV, a reforestation company that employs a biodiverse, permanent model to maximize carbon sequestration and landscape ecosystem restoration at scale. Through Arboreal Capital and his previous roles at Sutter Securities, Security Research Associates, and Johnson Capital, Mr. Magowan has invested in, originated, structured, and capitalized companies in the sectors of renewable energy, resource conservation, healthcare, technology, cyber security, financial services, and real assets.  Mr. Magowan has previously served as a strategic consultant to investors including The World Bank/IFC, Inter-American Development Bank, and the Swiss Fund for Emerging Markets. 

Mr. Magowan serves on the Board of Directors of Merchants National Properties (owners of Marx Realty), a vertically integrated real estate and investment company controlled by the Merrill, Lynch, and Marx families since 1933.  Merchants have interests in 3.4 million Square Feet of office and retail property principally in New York, Washington DC, and Boston.  

Mr. Magowan serves on the Advisory Boards of Arboreal BV and Parker Maritime Technologies.  He’s a Partner at the Caribbean Climate Smart Accelerator and Vice President of a Private Family Foundation.  He’s a past appointee to the United States Department of Energy’s Nuclear Advisory Committee.  Mr. Magowan speaks on impact investing at conferences globally. He has co-organized the Investing in Deep Decarbonization Conferences since 2017 in San Francisco, New York, and Amsterdam.

Mr. Magowan is an honors graduate with a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). 

Mr. Magowan holds Series 7 and 63 registrations with FINRA.

Dr. Thurston served NOAA for 28 years managing global in-Situ ocean observing networks and empowering vulnerable Nations organizing over 30 Capacity Building Workshops across the Indo-Pacific traveling over 2.5 million air miles. He served as the Vice-Chair of the WMO Standing Committee for Earth Observing Systems and Monitoring Networks (SC-ON), where he integrated ocean observations into the new WMO Integrated Global Observing System (WIGOS). With a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, he has a strong background in hydrodynamics, wave-current interactions, and satellite communications.
